The Xbox Series X has been chosen as the starting point for a talented console modder named mlmods on Reddit. This Reddit user has redesigned the console and a controller in the style of the iconic red and gold armor worn byIron Man.
The custom Xbox Series X is coated in a series of reflective red plates that have rivet points at the edges and resemble the bulk of theIron Manarmor. The most standout part of the custom Xbox, however, is the arc reactor built into its front face, and which lights up when the Xbox is turned on. This element of working lights is what elevates this custom console above others that would simply re-skin a console with decals.
This console would not be for everyone, of course, most console players want their system to blend in naturally next to their TV, and a glowing rectangularIron Mantorso wouldn’t fit naturally in most living rooms. In this generation of consolesXbox do seem to be the pushing the more subtle design compared to the PlayStation 5. But, then again, custom and limited edition consoles are meant for the players who want a console which stands out.
