For those in the market for anXbox Series Xcontroller, the Xbox Design Lab now has some new options to help imaginations run wild. Microsoft announced that its beloved create-your-own controller hub has some fresh color schemes to help make even those wildest controller design ideas a reality.

Originally limited to standard Xbox One and Xbox Series X controllers, it was in October that the Xbox Design Lab rolled out the ability tocustomize Xbox Series X Elite Series 2 controllers. Gamers could go to the Design Lab to create various combinations of color schemes, grips, triggers, D-Pads, face buttons, engraved text, and more for their Elite Series 2 gamepads. And as of today, those options have expanded even further.

The newly updatedXbox Design Labnow features an impressive 16 base colors to choose from for Elite Series 2 controllers. On top of that, there are now 25 different accent colors available to help make those peripherals pop. The ABXY buttons now have a dozen design options of their own (including a new black-out style). And there are 17 accent colors that can be applied to D-Pads and paddles for an even more customized look.

Now unique to the Elite Series 2 is the ability to customize the color of the controller’s thumbstick ring for added flair. Designers can even choose to incorporate metallic D-Pads and/or triggers to give gamepads an even more professional feel. Though some gamers decide todesign their new customer Xbox controller with their living space in mindso as to not annoy their significant others.

The sheer number of custom controller options can be overwhelming, so Microsoft has tons of starting points on its Design Lab page to help get the process going. The Design Lab even has a great selection of controllers inspired by popular titles likeOverwatch 2,The Elder Scrolls Online,Ghostwire: Tokyo,Vampire Survivors,Sea of Thieves, and more that can be chosen to start from and then build upon. And there are also tons ofgreat custom Xbox controller ideasavailable online to help spark some creativity.

Microsoft brags that there are “literally billions of possibilities” to make controllers unique to their designer. Those that take advantage of the new style forXbox Series Xcontrollers options should know that deliveries can take about three to four weeks. Once an order is placed the design process begins, so orders can not be canceled. And because these are original designs, they can’t be returned either.
