Summary
WWE 2K24’s patch 1.08 is currently live, and it introduces some new entrances for characters like Wolfgang and Mark Coffey, as well as various bug fixes. Arriving just in time for the ECW Punk Pack DLC, which is the first out of fiveWWE 2K24season pass downloadable content packs, the latest update addresses several issues that can be found in the various game modes, including the Creation Suite, MyFaction, Online, MyRise, and Universe Mode.
While most fans would say thatWWE 2K24may be one of the best entries in the modern series of WWE games, the wrestling game community still continues to find many issues that plague the game. From simple items such as mislabeled items, to bigger concerns such as incorrect entrances and game-breaking crashes, some gamers continue to hope that 2K can iron these out in future patches. With the current update, it seems 2K has done more than just address the problems. The team has also managed to update a few entrances and assets for some playable characters.

Aside from the previously mentioned Gallus members,WWE 2K24’s patch 1.08 has also added new entrances and victory motions for the teams of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, as well as Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. Not only that, but some users have reported that JD McDonagh’s Judgment Day Titantrons have been updated as well. This is not the first time that 2K has updated existing assets without notice. A previous patch secretly updatedThe Rock’s classic character model inWWK 2K24to give it a more accurate look.
Superstars With New Motions
WWE 2K24players will be glad to know that many of the crashes and resets experienced within the Creation Suite have also been addressed. Create-An-Arena’s billboard and LED customizations can now be edited properly without fear of glitching. The same can be said for logos that used to shrink when editing the color in Create-A-Superstar. Some ease-of-use features such as displaying the Deletion Utility’s use of space relative to custom images have also been introduced. EvenWWE 2K24’s Blackout paybackhas had its timing updated for game balancing purposes.
Clearly, 2K, Visual Concepts, and the WWE Games department are trying to right some wrongs within the current iteration of the game. While these fixes should automatically carry over to the next game, many fans somewhat predict thatWWE 2K25could undergo a huge shiftin terms of presentation. Some of the glitches and errors present were ones that were fixed in previous years, but were broken again with the introduction of some of the new mechanics. Hopefully, the developers can further maintain the game’s stability with each patch so that WWE fans can enjoy the games without worrying about other bugs coming out.
