Wolcen: Lords of Mayhemis anotherone of thoseDiablo-esque ARPGsthat have come out following in the footsteps ofPath of Exile.Diablo 3did have a shaky launch, which gave ample time to other developers to carve out a decent size of the player base for their games likePath of Exile. Now, there’s a new entrant in the genre, and that’sWolcen: Lords of Mayhemwhich is a mix of bothDiabloandPath of Exile.Wolcenmay look similar to both these games, but it offers a more modernized ARPG experience and strives to be something new in the genre.

At first glance, the game may not stand out as a unique experience, butWolcenoffers a more tactical combat style compared to the click-spam combat inDiabloandPath of Exile. The game also offers a mature storyline coupled with beautifully rendered cutscenes and videos. The game did receive praise from both the fans and the critics, butserver issues at launchleft a bad taste in many people’s mouths.

Fortunately, the developers quickly sorted things out and fixed the server issues so players can easily enjoy the online experience. Those who are lucky enough to get started in the game will be familiar with the skill tree available for their characters. If some undesired skills have been selected, then there’s no need to worry, as the game allows a simple way to reset the entire Skill Tree.

How to Reset Skill Tree in Wolcen

The option to reset the skill tree inWolcenis not found in the skill tree menu; instead, players will be able to reset their passive skills from the Character menu. At the bottom-right of the character menu, players will find the option to reset the passive skill tree. At the moment, doing so will reset the entire skill tree, which means every passive that players have allocated will be reset, and it will also cost Primordial Affinity. The more passives a player has allocated, the more Primordial Affinity required to reset their skill tree. Luckily, it’s not that difficult toearn enough Primordial Affinityin the game to do a couple of resets.

It’s recommended to keep playing with any build that players want, and to invest in passives that work favorably with their chosen skillset. The only time players should reset their entire skill tree is when their chosen passives are not enough to progress further in the game. If passives become completely necessary to progress further, then it’s better to reset the skill tree and allocate resources in the essential passives. In the meantime, those who are waiting forPath of Exile 2orDiablo 4can quench their thirst for ARPGs withWolcen.
