Solo Leveling: Arisegives players many different ways to increase their total power. Theirtotal power is determinedby the power of Sung Jinwoo and three hunters that players can equip to help him on various missions. While there are a few things that separate Sung Jinwoo from other Hunters, they all can equip Artifacts.

Weapons are split up between those that Sung can use and those the other Hunters can use. Artifacts on the other hand are universal with all characters on your roster being able to equip any combination of artifacts. Artifacts also come in sets that give characters additional bonuses by equipping four of the same set of artifacts.

How To Enhance Artifacts In Solo Leveling: Arise

To enhance artifacts, players will need to first go to the Artifacts menu within the main menu. This will open up the entire inventory of artifacts the player has. Artifacts come in different rarities that further boost the stats of the artifact the higher the rarity. Select an artifact and press Enhance in the bottom right of the screen. Pressing the plus or minus buttons determines how many times you’d like to attempt to enhance your gear to a maximum of 20. Enhancement isautomatic and will continue to spend the resources to try and enhance an artifact until it reaches the desired rankor resources run out.

Unlikeupgrading weapons inSolo Leveling: Arise, enhancing artifacts has a chance for it to be successful. Under the artifact will be the Enhancement Rate which will go down 5% with every tier of enhancement that succeeds. This makes it harder and harder to reach the final ranks, as even a failed tier still costs gold and Artifact Enhancement Chips. Every time an enhancement fails, itbecomes 1% easier for the next upgrade, but this bonus goes away once a successful enhancement happens. There are only 20 levels of enhancement for artifacts before they are maxed out and a better artifact needs to be found.
