The bugs in question have seenMiles Morales transform into streetlights, bricks, and, most recently, a heater. Twitter user @DoctorCuriosity shared a clip of the glitch, dubbed “heater parker,” and it is absolutely hilarious to see a heater swinging its way through New York City while the player in control giggles in delight. The tweet quickly went viral before being followed up with an even more popular post, this time seeing Phil Lord say “we’re putting this in Spider-Verse 2 if we have any self respect at all.”

With the original movie referencing the first game via Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit, as well as the inclusion of Spider-Ham in a prominent role, the weird glitch would fit perfectly with the fun tone the film is sure to have. Paying homage to everything Spidey-related is part of what made the first film so special to fans, and the sequel is on track to do the same by paying respect to these bugs.
WithSpider-Man: Miles MoralesacknowledgingInto the Spider-Versein so many ways, be it the actual costume, dialogue easter eggs, orusing Jaden’s music for both soundtracks, it makes sense for the animated sequel to include a nod to the game as well.
