Call of Duty: Warzoneis a game with its fair share of glitches and bugs. From the famous “demon” texture glitch which has been causing many fans to see strange happenings on the pacific island map of Caldera, to bugs which can make guns in the Gulag invisible, players have been running into problems with the game for some time, with some claiming that the introductionof the Pacific updatehas only made things worse.
One seemingly new glitch was pointed out yesterday though by a player on Reddit, which sees the stim shot equipment suddenly blind a player and cause them to die. The stim shot is used by most players to heal themselves to survive a firefight or simply outlive their opponents in the battle royale. Yet, on this occasion, theCall of Duty: Warzoneplayer in question found that their stim sent them to a strange void-like reality. This isn’t the first time the stim equipment has come into question byCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers. In April 2021, it was discovered that the stim could recover a player quicker than the radiation could hurt them inWarzone.

Besides being stronger than radiation, and sending players into aYu-Gi-Ohtype shadow realm, thestim equipment inCall of Duty: Warzonewas also associated with another infamous glitch. The “infinite stim” glitch, as it was known, returned with a vengeance despite previous attempts by Raven to patch the glitch. The current stim glitch inCall of Duty: Warzonedoes not appear to be a common one, as comments on the Reddit post indicate that the visual glitch is a new one.
One comment wrote that this glitch, along with many others was “one of the reasons Season 2 is getting delayed, probably.” Season 1 of the Pacific update and the Caldera map has been quite the controversial event amongCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers, with popular streamers of the game like Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman believing that the battle royale is boring or needs something truly new to create interest once more. Some are suggesting thatCall of Duty: Warzoneshould just go for a full sequel.
Even without bugs, glitches, and criticism from popular streamers though,Call of Duty: Warzonestill suffers from additional problems, with a major one being cheating. Despite the introduction ofRicochet Anti-Cheat toCall of Duty: Warzone, cheating is still rife within the game, with a recent return of the flying car hack making its way into Caldera.
