One of the most uniqueTwitchstreamers is CodeMiko, a streamer who uses impressive technology to create a 3D animated avatar that represents her on streams. CodeMiko’s unique VTuber presentation has helped her skyrocket in popularity, and she is currently one of the most popular streamers in the world. Unfortunately, CodeMiko has been banned fromTwitchmultiple times for various reasons, with the latest ban happening on July 25, 2025.
Twitch banned CodeMiko on June 6, and while the streaming platform rarely provides specific reasons for why any particular ban has been given out, fans can make an educated guess as to why this latest one happened. CodeMiko’s latest Twitch stream was titled “CodeMiko might get banned today,” and it featured her avatar naked. The nudity was censored, but it still went againstTwitch’s ToS, hence the ban.

With this being the fourth time thatCodeMiko has been banned from Twitch, fans were wondering if it would stick this time. However, it doesn’t appear as though this will be a permanent ban for the VTuber. It’s no secret that more popular Twitch streamers are able to get away with more without being permanently banned, and it seems as though CodeMiko will be returning at some point in the near future.
In the past,CodeMiko said she had PTSD from her Twitch bans, but she had to have seen this latest one coming. After all, the title of the Twitch stream acknowledged the risk that she was taking with the content, and it’s likely she knew the content of the stream would be against Twitch’s ToS, or seriously pushing the envelope at the very least. Luckily for CodeMiko and her fans, it doesn’t seem as though the ban will be permanent, but even if it were, she’s popular enough now that she would likely find success elsewhere.
CodeMiko is one of the few Twitch streamers that have successfully broken into the mainstream, as she was selected as one of the presenters for the G4 revival. Not only that, but thetechnology behind the CodeMiko avataris something else that should ensure she’ll land on her feet if any Twitch bans end up sticking.
CodeMiko’s Twitch ban isn’t the only reason the streamer has been in the news recently. Apparently, anunnamed TikToker showed up at CodeMiko’s house, which she shares with other content creators, and threw a “big rock” at her roommates, though thankfully no one was hurt in the incident.
