Gearbox Software’sBorderlandsspinoff,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, immerses players in a fantasy-themed “game within a game.” The game drives home itsD&D-style motifs, with heavy emphasis on spell casting, melee weapons, and a slew of new accessories that yield buffs.
Amongthese magic-themed customizationsare Ring accessories, which grant various boosts by equipping them through the inventory menu. Though subtle, these accessories can prove crucial in crafting a strong, effective character, as well as enhancing one’s class or build. This isfurther amplified when affixing two Rings, which players can eventually take advantage of. Here’s how.

An Overview Of Rings
InTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Rings provide various buffs, which can range from increases in damage or magazine size to Action Skill duration or greater chances at critical hits. Along with items like Wards (magic shields) and Spells, these Rings allow players to further customize their character and add personal flair that meshes with their fighting style.
Players will notice that some equip-able elements of the game remained locked for a time. This includes both Ring Slots, which are initially unavailable upon starting the game; though thefirst Ring Slot will be unlocked fairly early on.Like most items in the game, Rings can be dropped from enemies or found as loot in chests, as well as from vendors and as rewards from finishing certain quests.

Eventually, players will be able to mix and match, equipping two Rings at onceper character.
There are also a handful ofLegendaryRings, which yield more significant boosts such as a 10% spell radius increase and 15% ability damage increase.
Unlocking The First Ring Slot
The first Ring Slot can be opened up quite early in the campaign. To do this, players must finish the tutorial stages and save Brighthoofafter teaming up witha particular unicorn that fans might recognize.
At the conclusion of the questA Hard Day’s Knight, players are triumphantly knighted and will unlock the first Ring Slot. Players should be at or around level 10 when this occurs, though this is not required to unlock the slot.
How To Unlock The Second Ring Slot
Getting access to the second Ring Slot (bottom left of the gear screen) will take significantly more time, asplayers will need tocomplete the campaignto do so. This is seemingly to incentivize players to keep exploring the Wonderlands after beating the final boss and grinding for better loot against tougher foes. However, if avoiding side quests, players can actually finish the main campaign fairly quickly; around 14 hours to be specific.

Players will alsogain access to the resource-richChaos Chamberupon finishing the game. This endgame area is a great location to test out one’s new strength with the additional Ring equipped. It’s home to even tougher baddies, bosses, challenges, as well as more Legendary gear.
Keep in mind:one’slevel does not matterwhen beating the game for the second Ring Slot unlock. However, a higher level (or max level) is ideal, as players will have the potential to find Rings with more potent buffs once it’s unlocked.
Once the second Ring Slot is opened, this is also a good time toreturn to farmable bossesand Badass enemies, to get Legendary Rings. Seek out any missed Lucky Dice as well, since this will increase the odds of finding Legendary Rings.
