First Part of the Fight

Players who decide that Shane should lead the group will have to face Rick Grimes and take him out inBetter Angels, Act 2 Episode 10. The first part of the fight against Rick Grimes is significantly tougher, as there are no distractions that will keep him busy. However, to even it out, gamers will also have more weapons and ammo at their disposal in comparison to the second half.

Before engaging with Rick, gamers shouldpick up a shotgun, as much ammo as they can, and some meds. This allows them to focus on the fight instead of having to look for loot halfway through.

Rick has his revolverout during the first part of the fight. Whenever he has the opportunity to do so, he will shoot two bullets and then pause for a little bit - this is when players must take the opportunity to attack. Although melee attacks will deal decent damage, using the shotgun is the way to go here.Players should chip away at Rick’s health with their weapons while dodging and healing whenever necessary.

Adrenaline-fueled attacks do not work on Rick Grimes, so Shane cannot recover health this way.

Once Rick’s health has reached zero, a cutscene will play before they enter the next stage of the fight.

Second Part of the Fight

Rick and Shane will resort to melee attacks during the second part of the fight. Since this is an emotionally charged moment, Shane’s thoughts will be running wild while he fights his best friend, and this can be quite distracting, so players must focus on Rick.

During this fight, Rick will attempt to chase Shane and damage his health. Walkers will continuously wander into the area where the fight takes place. Even though it sounds just like more opponents to fight, this can actually be a blessing, as they will oftentimes distract Rick, and he will stop going after Shane to fight them off - this is the best time to strike.

Players won’t have many opportunities to heal during this fight, so they might have to resort to taking out some walkers and using adrenaline attacks to get some health back.

Scars and debuffswill increase the difficulty of this fight quite a bit, so gamers must do their best to dodge Rick’s attacks. While doing so, they have to continue to chip away at his health as best as they possibly can, especially when he’s focused on the nearby walkers. Eventually, his health will drop down to zero, and then Shane will kill him.
