Warning: Spoilers Ahead
8“I Was Liberated”
The ominous tension in the High Republic grows thanks to the seeds that Moff Gideon has placed within its inner workings. Elia Kane is a character given more screen time, features briefly inThe Mandalorian’s 5th episode of Season 3, and gives a crucial line that hints at her potential deception.
Kane is using tactics to make herself a victim of the Empire and states in front of High Republic officials that she was “liberated” from the Empire, a term that would certainly make them feel heroic and gloat about their actions in the rebellion, but Kane’s motives seem to align elsewhere.

7“Clear Out, Blue Boy”
Paz Vizsla has recently gotten more character development inThe Mandalorian. He started as just a heavy infantry Mandalorian but quickly developed a group of fans due to his design and personality. Paz Vizsla has a great history waiting to be explored, as his ancestors honed the Darksaber. However, for now, fans will have to settle for a personalityas aggressive as the mythosaur.
The line in question shows how loyal Paz is to The Way and The Tribe. Whether it’s the New Republic or the Empire, to Paz, it’s all the same thing, and his comment that mocks Carson just shows that his allegiance is to The Tribe and he fears no one else.

6“Perhaps It Is Time For Us To Live In The Light Once Again”
There’s a riveting speech that brings hope back to Mandalorian culture, as Din Djarin stands proudly and talks to his people about how perhaps it is time for the Mandalorians to rise to the surface, and stop hiding in the shadows to survive. The speech itself is powerful, but this particular line reaches out.

Din Djarin has interacted with far more people than other Mandalorians. Fromsimple men making their way through the galaxyto Jedi. It makes sense that he believes that Mandalorians should live in the light, rather than hiding in caves and sewers, and it brings hope for a bright future for Mandalorians.
5“Why Should We Lay Our Lives Down Yet Again? Because We Are Mandalorians”
Mandalorian culture certainly is at the forefront ofThe MandalorianSeason 3, and Paz Vizsla continues to show why their culture is so important. After Din gives his speech about the future of Mandalorians, Vizsla takes the stage to confirm just why they fight, and why they will fightagainst Gorian Shard.
It’s powerful to see all Mandalorians in the celebration that it’s a good death if it means fighting for something. They have such high honor and respect for each other, that to die in servitude is a worthy death. It’s always great to get more insight into the world of Mandalorians.

4“I Like Those Odds”
Using his starfighter, the N1, Din Djarin is outnumbered 10 to 1 against other pirate starfighters. Yet, Din Djarin is no pirate and has a trick up his sleeve. His line “I like those odds” isa call-backto the first season ofThe Mandalorian, in which Din Djarin is outnumbered 4 to 1 against Stormtroopers.

It’s a great line that harkens back to Din Djarin’s character progress, how he doesn’t just like the odds because he’s a talented fighter, but because this time he has backup. Everyone likes a cool rogue, and Din Djarin certainly fits the bill.
3“It Is Time To Retake Mandalore”
Hope is instilled into Mandalorian culture once more, as theleader of their covert, the Armorer, tells Bo-Katan that “it is time to retake Mandalore.” It’s a great tease that could present a future forThe Mandalorian, asStar Warstakes a break from telling stories of Jedi and Sith, and focuses more on the mythology and culture surrounding Mandalorians.
Fans might wonder just how will the Mandalorians retake Mandalore, yet knowing how well they work as a team, and how grand they are as warriors, it seems that they might not struggle to retake their homeworld. It’ll be great to see Mandalorians thrive once more.

2“We Must Walk The Way Together”
The Way might be defined by the inability of Mandalorians to take off their helmet in front of others, but the Armorer seeks to change that and bring forth a change in their culture that would see people walk both paths. The Armorer tells Bo-Katan “We must walk the Way together.”
There’s much symbolism in the Armorer keeping her helmet on while telling this to Bo-Katan, who has removed her helmet. It shows a union, andhow all Mandalorians will unite, exile or not. Yet, it must make Din Djarin feel annoyed considering the lengths he went to redeem himself.

1“And Moff Gideon’s Body Is Missing”
Not everything can go well inThe Mandalorian. Despite arenowned hope within Mandaloriansand a new home for their covert on Nevarro, it does not stop the looming threat of a growing Empire across the galaxy. Moff Gideon’s Lambda prison shuttle was hijacked, and the only body missing is Gideon’s.
Moff Gideon has been a great threat inThe Mandalorian, and to Mandalorians in general, considering he once wielded the Darksaber, making him their leader at one point. Audiences don’t know what Moff Gideon has planned, who freed him, or where he is, which makes for an ominous line that he hasn’t been brought to justice.
