Redditor L4westby shared the cool creations online, with five custom ships built to resemble different animals. There’s a duck, a spider, an orca, a frog, and a falcon. Because of how the shipbuilder works, they’ve even been able to adjust the colors to resemble the respective animals. They each come with their own cool name to compliment the creation, too. The orca ship is “Freestar Willy,” while the frog ship is “Star Hopper.” A while back, another player created aStarfieldship that looks like a chicken, and it appears the animal-based builds don’t stop there.

Ever sinceStarfieldwas first released, players have been getting extremely creative with the shipbuilder and sharing their creations online. Some focus on style, while others focus on sheer scale. One player even created aStarfieldship that looks like Shrek, which is quite a haunting sight. Despite the fun creations already out there, it’s still early days forStarfieldand its community. It’s unlikely that players have fully unlocked the potential ofStarfield’s shipbuilding, and it’s an exciting thought to imagine what might possibly arrive in the future. One thing is for sure - there’s going to be plenty more animal-themed builds going forward.

Fans of the shipbuilding inStarfieldhave plenty more to look forward to from Bethesda itself. As part of the ongoing effort to improve the game in the eyes of the community, Bethesda recently revealed the2024 roadmap forStarfield. Crucially, the list of changes included even more ship customization options, meaning the community will have even more tools to work with to bring their ship ideas to life.
