Some bounty hunters have a ‘bad’ reputation, while some are more on the ‘good side.’ Though many bounty hunters have appeared throughoutStar Wars, some of these space-western characters are more memorable than others. Through the movies, films, and even video games, there are plenty of unique bounty hunters that fans have come to enjoy.

8Boba Fett

The most famous bounty hunter, Boba Fett, first appeared inThe Empire Strikes Back. Darth Vader initially hired the Mandalorian to help retrieve Han Solo and the rest of the Millennium Falcon team.

Din Djarin And Grogu in The Mandalorian

Though Boba Fett was thrown into a Sarlacc Pit, the stubborn bounty hunter survived and went on to even star in his own Disney+ show. The fan-favorite character runs his own crime syndicate with other bounty hunters. Boba Fett even makes a famous cameo appearance in the video gameStar Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Mandalorianwas one of the firstStar WarsTV shows to air on Disney+, and has brought with it one of the most popularStar Warscharacters of all time: Grogu, known unofficially as Baby Yoda. Second tothe lovable Padawanis Din Djarin.

Din Djarin is a Mandalorian bounty hunterwhose life changed when he came across Grogu. Now, the two run around in space while fighting those who constantly chase after Grogu. Din Djarin also became a wielder of the Darksaber after taking it from Moff Gideon.

Boba Fett would have never led his life as ambitiously as he did without his father. Jango Fett is a legendary bounty hunter that fought against the Jedi in the Clone Wars. Though the Trade Federation hired the Mandalorian to assassinate Padme Amidala, Jango Fett met an abrupt end at the hands of Jedi Master Mace Windu.

After discovering his father was killed by a Jedi, Boba Fett promised to avenge his father against the Jedi people. Since the Prequel Trilogy, Jango Fett has been a legend in theStar Warsfranchise and is easily one of themost powerful Mandalorians.

Bossk is one of the lesser-known bounty hunters in theStar Warsfranchise, but is also one of the most feared. Bossk was one of several bounty hunters that the Sith Lord Darth Vader hired to findLuke Skywalker and the Millennium Falcon.

Though Bossk doesn’t appear in any of the otherStar Warsfilms, he worked as a bounty hunter during the Clone Wars and even made minor appearances inThe Clone Warsanimated TV show. Even though his role isn’t significant in the trilogy, Bossk can also be spotted inReturn of the Jedias a bounty hunter working for the Empire.

Black Krrsantan is a Wookie bounty hunterwho first appeared inStar Warscomic books alongside the famous bounty hunter Boba Fett. Afterward, Black Krrsantan made his live-action debut in the Disney+ show,The Book of Boba Fett. Black Krrsantan is a large black-haired Wookie known for his exceptional strength.

After the Clone Wars ended, Black Krrsantan worked as a bounty hunter and made a name for himself in the crime world. Black Krrsantan was even mentioned in the Sequel Trilogy by Rey, who used Krrsantan’s name to help deceive Kief Varris about Moebin Faltis' skills.

Of all the bounty hunters inStar Wars, Cade Bane is probably the most famous in terms of pure skill. During and after the Clone Wars, Cad Bane worked as a bounty hunter and even took on Boba Fett as a short-term apprentice. However, Cad Bane is best known for his appearances inThe Clone Wars, where he constantly tries to interrupt his opponent’s plans.

Many bounty hunters have made their first appearances in live-action through other bounty hunter shows likeThe MandalorianandThe Book of Boba Fett.Fennec Shand is one such character, first introduced inThe Mandalorian.

Though she initially was a slick antagonist, she eventually worked as an anti-hero with Din Djarin and more often with Boba Fett after he recruited her into his new syndicate. Fennec Shand, who is incredible with a long-ranged rifle, also appears inThe Bad Batchwhere she fights against Cad Bane.

1Aurra Sing

When Jango Fett was killed and Boba Fett was left without a father, it was up to other bounty hunters to help take care of and raise little Boba Fett. Aurra Sing was one of the bounty hunters essentially acted as a parental figure in Fett’s life after Jango Fett’s death.

Aurra Sing appears inThe Clone Wars, but many fans may not know that Aurra Sing appeared inThe Phantom Menaceduring the racing scenes. Aurra Sing was also a Force-Sensitive, meaning she could use the Force. As a result, Aurra Sing is easily one of the most dangerous bounty hunters in the galaxy.
