A new job listing has surfaced for a director of product management at the PlayStation San Diego office. The director would lead the PlayStation PC Games Experiences department in several facets such as staffing, game development, andcollaboration with other Sony Interactive Entertainment groups. A successful candidate for the position must have over 10 years of product experience and a “deep understanding of the video game industry, especially PC, Cross Play, and Cloud/Mobile gaming based needs.” Other requirements for the job include excellent analytical, communication, and intrapersonal skills.
The PlayStation PC job listing requires a passionate candidate with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions. The overall focus of the director position is leading the department and bring PlayStation games to PC players worldwide. As PlayStation PC expands, players should see more titles land on PC with highly-requested features such as cross-play withPlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
