The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimhas been out for a decade now, but the game remains incredibly popular. Bethesda is set to launch a new version ofSkyrimlater this year in the form of theAnniversary Edition, but there are plenty versions ofSkyrimalready out that fans can play while they wait for the new release.

Skyrimis a massive game full of hidden details and secret tricks that players can utilize to their advantage. Reddit user Woebne recently discovered aSkyrimtrick that helps players completely avoid taking fall damage. To pull it off, players need to fall on an enemy and time their strike just right to trigger a Kill Camera.Kill Cameras inSkyrimare essentially cinematic executions that give players a closer look at the action as they kill an enemy, and as it turns out, they completely negate fall damage.

Granted, this particularSkyrimtrick is very situation-based and probably won’t be used all that much, but it’s still good to know about. IfSkyrimplayersever find themselves in a situation where they need to drop a great distance and there’s an enemy lurking below, they may as well quick save and give it a shot to see if they can replicate what Woebne managed to pull off in the video.

There are plenty of other secret tricks inSkyrimthat players can use to give themselves an edge in the game. One of the most helpful is theSkyrimtrick to get 100 Sneak right at the beginning of the game. To do this, players need to attack Hadvar or Ralof in Helgen Keep while crouched, which will level up their Sneak skill and other skills over time. Hadvar and Ralof don’t fight back, making it pretty easy to pull off.

With therelease ofSkyrim: Anniversary Editionright around the corner, it will be interesting to see if Bethesda cleans up any of these lingering exploits in the game. It’s possible that this no fall damage trick or the exploit to hit Sneak 100 will be removed withSkyrim: Anniversary Edition, but nothing to that effect has actually been announced at the time of this writing.

Bethesda has focused on the new content that’s coming toSkyrim: Anniversary Editionas opposed to what it will be removing from the game with the new release. There aren’t a ton of details, but it has been confirmed thatSkyrim: Anniversary Editionwill add fishingas a new activity for players to do.
