While visiting a local brewery, oneSkyrimfan discovered an unusual statue based on the Dragonborn. As the playable character inSkyrim, the Dragonborn must stopAlduin the World-Eaterfrom bringing ruin to the world. Unsurprisingly, the Dragonborn inSkyrimhas become well-known with fans, and there are even real-life statues based on the character.
In a post on Reddit, a user known as stiinita showed off an unusual picture of a Dragonborn statue based onSkyrim. While this is not the first fan to share photos of agiant Dragborn statue, this one from stiinita stood out because of its location. According to the Reddit user, they discovered it at a local brewery, located at Moarpeter restaurant in Styria, Austria.

The picture taken by stiinita revealed that the statue was quite large and included a number of details. It depictedthe Dragonborn fromSkyrimstanding on what appeared to be a rock, and it had a small plaque in front, which included the game name. The statue was silver and had the Dragonborn brandishing a pair of weapons. In addition, the image from the Reddit user revealed that the giant Dragonborn statue was placed outside next to a large bush.
In addition to showing off the intriguing Dragonborn statue on Reddit, stiinita said they were interested in discovering its history. While they had asked a couple of local residents, they were not able to find out much information. Fortunately, numerous members of theSkyrimcommunity on Reddit have noticed the post, and some were quick to propose theories about how the Dragonborn replica made its way to the local brewery.
Among the theories, one gamer said that statues like the one seen in stiinita’s picture were sent to places like GameStop. They guessed that the owner of the brewery purchased one that had been put up for sale on eBay. Interestingly, another gamer backed up this idea, noting that they had a friend who bought one of these statues. In addition to speculating about the origins of the Dragonborn statue, another Reddit user said that they found a Facebook post from the brewery from June 2020. According to the user, the post jokingly referred to the Dragonborn statue as “our knight,” and the post said it was strange having it there at first, but now it was part of the family.
While this Dragonborn statue at a local brewery is unusual, it serves as an example of the impactSkyrimhas had. Since its release more than a decade ago,Skyrimhas managed to stay popular, a feat that is not easy to accomplish with so many titles launching every year. Over on Reddit, players are regularly showing off discoveries and creations related toSkyrim, such as this giant Dragonborn statue found by stiinita.
