To almost no one’s surprise at this point, another new silly mod forMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredhas appeared online, and this one allows players to play as Jesse Pinkman from the TV showBreaking Bad. Modders have been hard at work creating all kinds of mods forMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredsince August. The results have often been hilarious, odd, or just straight-up cool, and this is another one to add to the seemingly never-ending library ofSpider-Manmods.
Jesse Pinkman appeared in all five seasons ofBreaking Bad.Now, he’s joining the diverse population ofSpider-Manplayable characters through modding the game. Some mods allow users to play as Marvel legend Stan Lee and other popular Marvel characters, like Daredevil and Galactus. Now, there appears to be yet another silly mod to join the ranks of odd mods, like turningSpider-Man into Kermit the Frogor Uncle Ben’s gravestone.

Jesse Pinkman was confirmed to be a mod in the game in a post made to Reddit by user jjarack, who has continued to post modding content in the officialSpider-ManReddit forum. This mod, though, does not seem to be downloadable or usable at the moment. It remains unclear who officially made this mod. It is also not currently available to download on Nexusmods, a collection of most of the popular mods that are released for a variety of games, includingMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which has pages full of mods including other ones to play as a Licker fromResident Evil 2and one toplay as Spider-Gwen. There also appears to only be one image of the mod in action so far.
The list of mods forMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredappears to be endless. New mods are being created and added to the game every day since the game’s release, and while a lot of these mods are just cosmetic changes, there are some that drastically change the way the game is played. There is even a mod that lets usersplayMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredfrom a first-person perspective. There are other mods for theBreaking Badfans as well. There is a mod available that makes Walter White appear on the side of buildings, and there’s one that allows users to replace the main menu music with theBreaking Badtheme music.
With the likes of Kermit the Frog, Daredevil, Spider-Gwen, Jesse Pinkman, and a lot more all entering theMarvel’s Spider-Manuniverse via mod support,Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredis a showcase of player creativity and skill. It is becoming increasingly more entertaining to see what players will up with next, such ascombining several mods together to emulate a playable Galactusvia a player scale mod and the model itself. Hopefully, more formerly PlayStation-exclusive titles will make their way to PC in the future, so players can have a modding field day.
