After months of rumors and speculation, Ubisoft is finally set to pull the curtain back on the upcomingAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. TheViking-themedAssassin’s Creedleaked a long time ago, but it’s just now getting its proper reveal. However, it seems theAssassin’s Creed Valhallaleaks aren’t slowing down, as its release date may have leaked online.
Twitter user xj0nathan has discovered an Amazon Germany listing for anAssassin’s Creed Valhallacompanion novel due for release on July 14, 2025. November 17 lands on a Tuesday, and video games traditionally release on Tuesdays and Fridays. Combine this with the fact that the vast majority ofAssassin’s Creedgames have released in the fall, and it seems as though November 17 could easily be theAssassin’s Creed Valhallarelease date.

However, it’s worth pointing out that the companion novels for pastAssassin’s Creedgames have not necessarily released on the same day as the games themselves. So it’s possible thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallawill actually come out a few weeks before the novelization and launch in October instead. This wouldn’t be terribly surprising, asAssassin’s Creed Odyssey,Origins, andSyndicateall launched in October.
Luckily,Assassin’s Creedfans may not have to wait long at all to find out if this leak accurately predicts theAssassin’s Creed Valhallarelease date. Ubisoft is set toproperly revealAssassin’s Creed Valhallain a presentationthat’s mere hours away from the time of this writing, and it’s possible that the game’s release date will be announced then. Fans should keep their expectations in check on that front, but anyone interested in the game should be sure to tune in just in case.
TheAssassin’s Creedfranchisehas enjoyed somewhat of a renaissance in recent years thanks to a shift to a more RPG focus and spreading out the releases a bit more. BothAssassin’s Creed OriginsandOdysseyearned strong reviews from critics, and it will definitely be interesting to see ifAssassin’s Creed Valhallacan continue the momentum. So far, reaction to the game’s Viking theme has been pretty positive, but not much has actually been shown of the game just yet.
