As November gets closer, players around the world have wondered how their old gaming accessories will work with both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S. While Xbox fans have been delighted to discover that all of their Xbox One accessories will come with them with full functionality into the next generation, PS5 advocates have had the dismay of realizing that theirPS4 controllers will only work on PS4 games. However, it seems that fans ofRock Band 4, regardless of console, will be happy to learn that their instruments will work on both of the new consoles.
In a post on the Harmonix Blog, the developer confirmed that a large amount of theRock Band 4instruments that were used this generation will work on the new consoles. While not every single instrument peripheral ever created forRock Bandwas tested, Harmonix stated that it believes that, in general, “if it worked on Rock Band 4 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it should work on next-gen.”
