Gunfire Games' third-person action-shooterRemnant 2begins with a tutorial mission where players learn the ropes of the game’s controls and meet some of its key faces at the Ward 13 base of operations. However, there are a few things thatRemnant 2doesn’t tell players, including how to emote.

While some players might try battlingRemnant 2’s fearsome foes solo, in many ways, the game is geared up for co-op play where emotes can add to the fun. Players focused on the task at hand might not realize it’s possible toemote inRemnant 2.The game has a lot of emotes for players to choose from for even more hilarious times with friends, especially when battling challenging enemies like World Bosses.
How to Emote in Remnant 2 (PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X)
To emote inRemnant 2, players should hold down on the D-pad to open the quick emote wheel if using an Xbox Series S/X or PS5 controller.Xbox console players should then use the right stick to navigate to the emote set 1 or 2, selecting their preferred option using the RB button (clicking on PC or R1 on PlayStation). Players can then select the emote of their choice with the right stick and press RB on their chosen emote to perform it.
Instead of choosing an emote set, players can also select the ‘Let’s go’ option at the top of the quick-wheel as a handy way to direct party members whenplayingRemnant 2co-op with friends, particularly when combined with the way-point marker activated by tapping down on the D-pad instead of holding.

Emotes like Praise the Gun, Clap, or High Five couldn’t be more perfect for many situations, like when trying tobeatRemnant 2’s Labyrinth Sentinel boss, or maybe that should be the Exhaustion emote. Many of the emotes also come with voice lines or sound effects. Either way, there are currently plenty of emote options to have fun with, and it remains to be seen whether more might appear inRemnant 2’s future DLC.
