During their long gameplay, the user’s girlfriend was able to knit a full quilt and often influenced the player’s choices to steer Arthur to make honorable decisions. However, during a visit to New York City, the player and his fiance had an encounter with famous actor John Lithgow, who is known for his roles in films such asInterstellar, and as Winston Churchill inNetflix’sThe Crown.

Soon after, a younger man sat beside Lithgow and gave him a Father’s Day present, which revealed that the man is Lithgow’s son. He then proceeded to tell his father aboutRed Dead Redemption 2, specificallythe character Sadie Adler,who plays a central role in the game. After John Lithgow left, the Reddit user proceeded to talk to Lithgow’s son, not about his award-winning father, but aboutRed Dead Redemption 2. It was in this conversation where Lithgow Jr. revealed that he is good friends with Sadie’s voice actor, and how he is interested in the game even though he still hasn’t played it.
Fast forward to when the coronavirus pandemic hit the world, which severely affected the video game industry like many others, the player’s girlfriend insisted that they do another playthrough of the game just because she misses Arthur so much.
