Japanese video game developer Type-Moon has announced thatFate/stay night REMASTEREDwill be released in 2024. The game is a remastered version of thePS Vitatitle,Fate/stay night Realta Nua,and will now be leaving PlayStation and will instead launch for the Nintendo Switch and on Steam. The PS Vita title is part of theFate/Stay Nightseries that first started as a visual novel game that has since inspired numerous anime, manga, and even other video games.
TheFate/Stayseries is about abattle royale called the Holy Grail War, where mages called Masters and their summons, Servants, must fight to death in order to obtain the legendary item, which will grant any wish.Fate/stay night Realta Nuahas three storylines or routes: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven’s Feel, with each featuring its own heroine that the player must keep alive.
Now, Type-Moon has revealed thatFate/stay night REMASTEREDwill be released in 2024 for the Switch and on Steam. Additionally,Fate/stay night REMASTEREDwill be available in three languages: English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. The teaser gave fans a look at the Fate/Stay protagonist, Shirou Emiya, along with the three heroines: Saber,who is based on King Arthur; and Rin Tohsaka, and Sakura, who are mages.
