Pokemon Unite’sEnergy Amplifier, in particular, is what fans call asituational held item. While it can be very useful, that will be utterly dependent on what happens during a match, particularly when it comes to Unite Moves. What the Energy Amplifier Does
A Pokemon that holds an Energy Amplifier gets apowerfulfour-second-longbuff. The buff isset to go after its holder uses a Unite Move. Not only that, but the held item canincrease how quickly Unite Moves charge up. The reason this held item is situational is that it depends on how much the player uses their Unite Move.
The stats of the Energy Amplifier change with thePokemon’s levelduring a battle. At level 10, the Energy Amplifier gives Unite Moves a faster charge rate by two percent. At level 20, that becomes four percent, and at level 30 it goes up to its highest at six percent.
Energy Amplifier Tips
Part of the fun inPokemon Uniteis that a single Pokemon can hold up to three held items at the same time. Due to this, the Energy Amplifier can be held along with two other items.Some fans like to use the Energy Amplifier along with the Buddy Barrier, because both depend on Unite Moves. That means doing a Unite Move would not only make attacks more powerful for four seconds and have a faster charge, but Buddy Barrier will add that the nearest ally with the lowest HP will get a shield for eight seconds.
These kind of builds are calledUnite Move Builds. It is recommended that Pokemon that use the Energy Amplifier be the kind that is on the offense once it uses its Unite Move. This means it would bebest used with Attackers, All-Rounders, and Speedsters.
