Pokemon Scarlet and Violetare both highly-anticipated releases for November, but unfortunately, it seems Game Freak and all companies involved are being stingy with reveals. To date, there have only been two trailers, a handful of features confirmed, and about 8 new Pokemon revealed (countingPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s starters). In the void of official information, there have been tons of rumors and leaks.
It should be said that anything not from an official source should be taken with a grain of salt, as some of thesePokemon Scarlet and Violetrumors and ‘leaks’ have been proven false. On the other hand, some have come from reliable sources or have been supported by reliable sources. Riddler Khu has allegedly retired from leaking information, but many of the new Pokemon have been supported by this community figure.

Now, onePokemon Scarlet and Violetfan has compiled a character of new Pokemon, including those already confirmed, and all of those recently leaked. It gives a good look at how much information has come from the sources, even if some of these prove to not be legitimate. It’s hard to say which are and which aren’t, but it’s a nice potential purview of the new generation nonetheless.
As seen above, there are rumors that Pawmi will be getting two evolutions, which is unusual for a Pikachu clone, and so will Smoliv. Its evolution line is allegedly akin to an Olive tree, and not theFire/Grass-type Pokemonfans are excited about. It too is listed here. Other noteworthy inclusions are the rumored dolphin and flamingo Pokemon, the salt and engined-based Pokemon, the various Regional fakes like Diglett, the supposed ancient and future forms, and the potentialcross-gen evolutions of Primeape, Girafarig, Murkrow, Dunsparce, Bisharp, and Wooper.
All in all, thisPokemon Scarlet and Violetchart includes 50 new Pokemon, 6 cross-gen evolutions, 13 Ancient and/or Future forms, and 3 regional fakes. Discounting the already-confirmed Pokemon from this list (and the three stages of each Starter), that’s about 58 Pokemon leaks currently unconfirmed. What’s perhaps most interesting is how much is currently unknown.
OnePokemon Scarlet and Violetrumor suggests that this generation will see thetotal list of Pokemoncross the 1000 mark, which is a big step for the franchise. Including other new features like its nonlinear design and co-op, it seemsPokemon Scarlet and Violetcould be shaping up to be a definitive entry in the franchise, even if not everything is confirmed as of this writing.
