Pokemon Homewas invaluable forSwordandShieldplayers who wanted to bring older Pokemon included in the Galar Pokedex into Generation 8. The app was even updated recently toadd compatibility withSwordandShield’s DLCexpansion called the Isle of Armor. Since then, the app has received various updates over time to improve the collective functions thatPokemon Homeoffers. WhilePokemon Homeupdates usually don’t alter the app too drastically, they do add helpful tweaks to the app’s UI and systems.
First up, players can now deposit multiple Pokemon to the Wonder Box at one time following the 1.2.1 update. Additionally, search options for the app’s GTS have been expanded in a few ways ultimately making them a bit more specific and concise. The Battle Data screen has been updated to show Nature’s when viewing Pokemon Rankings and will show if amint was used to change that nature. A back button was also added to the Battle Data screen for easier navigation.
A glitch was fixed surrounding the Pokemon Toxtricity in which its Gigantamax form wasn’t visible in a player’s Pokedex. The visual aspects ofPokemon Homeare key for users to identify Pokemon quickly, such asmaking sure shiny Pokemon look differentin their sprites when compared to their non-shiny counterparts. Finally, the update revised challenge complete messages so players more clearly understand what challenges they’ve completed. The patch notes also mention the addition of “new informational features” and “various other fixes.”
