After months of waiting for its arrival, thePokemon GOFest 2021 eventis now underway and already halfway complete. The “Catch!” day portion of the massive celebration is already complete and now the final day of the event will be all about the game’s Battle Raid features.

AsPokemon GOtrainers spend the day heading out with friends tobattle a long list of exciting Battle Raid bosses, there will still be a handful of tasks to keep in mind if they want to get the most value out of the event. In addition to the ticketed event Special Research, there will also be an eight part timed research chain available that makes the day’s activities much more affordable for players who don’t have a stockpile of Remote or Premium Raid Passes stocked up…

The eight part chain quest is actually incredibly simple and feels more like a series of rewards for players who are participating in the day’s activities (likedefeating Mewtwo in Battle Raids), than like a challenge. In short, players just need to “Battle in a Raid” and each completion of that task (up to eight) will reward them with a new Remote Raid Pass in addition to some Stardust, Potions, and Revives.

This is definitely one of the simpler timed research chains in the game’s history and it should be a great way to help players gain the resources needed to get through the Raid day activities. Keep in mind that the Battle Raid bosses will be rotating each hour today, so players should think carefully about when and how they want to use their pile of “free” Remote Raid Passes.

In the coming weeks, we should learn more about what other events will be arriving during the rest of theSeason of Discovery. Be sure to check back in the near future for morePokemon GOstrategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
