Prepare for trouble and make it double because two long-time fan-favorite villains are making their comeback to thePokemonfranchise. Jessie, James, and Meowth will make a limited-time appearance inPokemon GO.

Team Rocket is the original antagonist team, based in the Kanto and Johto regions. They’re infamous for stealing or capturing rare Pokemon. In the anime, however, the face of Team Rocket is represented by none other than Jessie and James, and their sidekick Pokemon Meowth. They follow protagonist Ash Ketchum, with a deep obsession to catch his powerful Pikachu. The trio is beloved for their comedic relief throughout the anime series.

And now, for a limited time,Pokemon GOplayers will have a real antagonist to face off with, because Jessie and James will appear in a Meowth hot air balloon, and it looks like they’re up to no good. This comes in tandem withthe Team GO Rocket balloon event, where Team Rocket balloons will appear throughout the sky. To battle the fiends, players should open their maps to check if Jessie, James, or other Team Rocket members are nearby, and tap on the hot air balloons to battle them. Avatar items inspired by Jessie and James are also now available in the shop.

The clumsy trio will only be here for a short time, soPokemon GOplayers should hop to it if they want to get a shot at rewards. Make sure to also interact with the balloons before they fly away because they will despawn, and reports show they only appear once every few hours.
