This passion often manifests in fan art based on some of their favorite pocket monsters from the games, such as Pikachu and Charizard, just to name a few. Since the inception of thePokemonfranchise back in 1996, the series has grown far beyond just video games. The franchise has been successful, selling all sorts of merchandise, such asPokemonplushies. Taking to Reddit, a user known as Renegaines posted a collection of pictures of a unique project they had been working on related to thePokemonseries. However, this was no ordinary project as the Reddit user revealed that they had transformed their regular desk into what they affectionately called a “Pokedesk.” In the series of images, the gamer showed what appeared to be their work desk covered in the designs of variouspopular Pokemon. Just a couple of the notable pocket monsters on display included Squirtle, Meowth, and Gengar.

In addition to sharing several images of the “Pokedesk,” Renegaines talked about how the unusual desk concept came to be. Interestingly, they revealed that they had initially not planned to cover the entire surface of the desk in stickers. Instead, they noted that they started with one sticker, and then things spiraled from there. While seemingly every inch of desk space was covered withPokemon-themed stickers, the Reddit user revealed that the project was not completely finished. According to thePokemonfan, they still needed to cover the desk with a layer of protective epoxy.

In the several days since posting the pictures, a number of gamers have upvoted the sticker-laden desk. Among the comments, many noted that the stickers gave them a blast of nostalgia, as they remembered them from their childhood. In addition, while many loved the design, some worried they would misplace items on the desk among the plethora ofPokemonstickers. “It looks great, but I would lose so many tiny things on this table…” one gamer commented on Reddit.

While this desk covered inPokemonstickers is definitely unique, it is not the only creation that has been shared by gamers over the past couple of weeks. Recently, another fan came up withFire, Water, and even a Venom version of Bulbasaur. As thePokemoncommunity continues to wait for the release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetlater this year, it will be interesting to see what other fan art is shared in the coming weeks.
