Recently, one fan decided to make an impressive albeit unusual piece of fan art showing off some of the more icon starters from the franchise.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Most-Painter2826 shared a picture of a recent painting that they completed based on thePokemongames. However, the canvas for this piece of artwork was a bit unusual as they elected to paint on their boyfriend’s cast. The results of the design were impressive, to say the least, as the artist decided to include artwork of some of their boyfriend’s favorite starters, such as Pikachu, Squirtle, Piplup, and Totodile.

In addition to showcasing the artwork in a gallery of images, Most-Painter2826 provided some info behind making the impressive cast designs. Despite not mentioning any details regarding the injury, they revealed that it took roughly 3 days working for approximately 6 hours at a time to complete the project. However, they painted the designs of the Pokemon while watching Netflix with their boyfriend, which they admitted made the process easier. In addition, they noted that while their boyfriend will not have to wear the cast much longer, he planned on saving the artwork after its removal.
