Since Nintendo and Game Freak released the first twoPokemongames way back in 1996,Pokemonfans have made unique creations and incredible fan art inspired by the franchise. OnePokemonfan has decided to glue golden models of all the original 151 Pokemon together to create a giant trophy based on Gen 1.
Reddit user Jerzku recently shared theirPokemoninvention that brings together all the Gen 1 Pokemon with the starters fittingly carrying the load and Mewtwo standing atop the pile with Mew as the most powerful of them all. ThePokemontrophy is golden, and it fittingly shines in the light. ThePokemonare glued together in numerical order and in a way that resembles a funnel, with only a handful of them standing triumphantly on the wide top.

Not all the Pokemon in Jerzku’s golden trophy are immediately recognizable, but thePokemonfan has highlighted the evolution lines for theGen 1 starter Pokemon, Pidgey, Oddish, Nidoran, Exeggcute, Dratini, and more in some closeups. Because of the numerical ordering, Mew sits on Mewtwo, who’s standing on Snorlax which is standing on Aerodactyl and the Legendary birds, and Lapras. The largest cluster of the Gen 1Pokemonis towards the base because of how the models are glued together, prioritizing that everything is balanced appropriately rather than all the Pokemon be visible.
According to Jerzku, the golden trophy was made using 3D printed models of each individual Pokemon, with most of them coming from games likePokemon StadiumorPokemon GO. Models that didn’t fit the creation were sculpted or Jerzku formed them from scratch which makes the overall design entirely unique to thisPokemonfan. The majority of the time spent was seemingly in the gluing process which brought the 151 Pokemon together in a way that would prevent them from collapsing, with Jerzku admitting that it’s one good hit away from being destroyed.
Jerzku may have teased their next model in the color of this Gen 1 trophy as they’ve confirmed interest in doing one based onPokemon Gold and Silver. Jerzku has also stated that they’re willing to sell the Gen 1Pokemontrophy given their limited available space and a handful of enthusiasticPokemonfans have already put their hat in the ring for it. Many eagle-eyedPokemonfans took to Jerzku’s Reddit post to voice enthusiasm for their favorite Pokemon models included in the art piece, while others asked for help locating theirs.
