Which Social Links are Unlocked by Social Stats in Persona 3 Portable?
The male protagonist inPersona 3 Portablehas nine Social Links locked to Social Stats, while the female protagonist has eight. In most cases, raising a Social Stat up to rank two, four, or six will unlock a new Social Link.

Mitsuru Kirijo
Academics is the toughest stat to max out inPersona 3 Portable, but the male and female protagonists ultimately get the same rewards for doing so. Rank two unlocks the eccentric foreign exchange student Bebe, rank four opens access to the “dying young man” Akinari Kamiki, and rank six allows players to start leveling up their relationship with party member Mitsuru Kirijo.Mitsuru is a romance optionwhen playing as the male protagonist, but cannot be romanced as the female protagonist.

One of the biggest changes toPersona 3 Portableis when Social Links become available. This is plainly seen in the social linksunlocked by the Charm stat. President Tanaka is available earlier for the female protagonist, at the expense of having party member Akihiko locked behind rank four. Meanwhile, The male protagonist will need to have Charm maxed out to start spending time with Yukari,
There is no Social Link unlocked by maxing Charm for the female protagonist. Players will still want tomax out all Social Statsdue to other perks offered by maxing out Charm.

The Social Links associated with the Courage stat are quite different between the two main characters. The female main character can start leveling up Fuuka earlier but will have to wait before they start hanging out with surly monk Mutatsu.
Meanwhile, the male protagonist meets with Mamoru Hayase, while the character doesn’t appear in a playthrough as the female protagonist. Finally, party member Ken Amada is gated behind the Courage stat for the female protagonist and not the male.
