Types Of Pal Skills in Palworld
Each pal in the game comes with a different set of skills. Typically, these skills are divided into three categories.
However, players cannot teach their pals new Passive or Partner skills since these are fixed traits and cannot be changed. Nonetheless,players can work with Palsand improve their active skills.
Pal’s active skills are the moves it uses during combat. Furthermore, these skills vary by the Element type, though a Pal can learn new active skills of any Element type. For instance, if players want to teach Electric element-type active skills to a Pal with a predominant Fire element, they can.
Teaching Pals New Skills
For players to teach their Pals new skills, there are two ways to go about it:
Skill Fruits are edibles players can hand to their pals to teach them new skills. Each Skill Fruit has a specific Element type, meaning that the active skill a player wants to teach their pal can be done only through a particular skill fruit.
To make this easier, consider the Fire Skill Fruit. This type of Skill Fruit can teach a pal the Flare Storm ability. On the other hand, the Electric Skill Fruit can teach a pal the Tagged Laser or Plasma Tornado ability.
Skill Fruits can be acquired in three ways. Players can buy them from merchants or find them on the ground randomly or through chests. Lastly, they can also obtain them from the Skill Fruit trees, which is considered the most reliable method in the game.
Levelling Up in Palworld
As a player’s pal advances the game with them and completes various objectives like collecting resources, successfully looting,defeating bosses, they gain experience. In turn, it teaches the pal a new skill. This process of gaining experience and acquiring new skills and abilities is termedLeveling Up inPalworld.
A point to remember here: upgrading to a new level doesn’t always grant Pals a new skill. It is only acquired when a particular ‘level milestone’ is reached. Once that happens, the Pal will learn new skills and abilities.
