The Greek Gods have descended from Olympus to theFortniteisland, but players will want to worship the loot rather than these gods themselves, for unfortold goodies could be in their hands if they know where to look. Thearrival of Chapter 5 Season 2brought many new additions toFortnite, once again altering the weapon pool to keep the meta fresh and engaging. Yet, with so many weapons to add to the arsenal to get a Victory Royale, there has to be a unique way to obtain them.
This is where the Olympus and Underworld chests come in, which act as a new chest rarity that can be found in two specificFortnitePOIs in the Myths & Monsters season. These chests grant unique loot inFortnite, allowing gamers to ascend like a God from Olympus with some cool loot.
Updated on June 23, 2025, by Ashely Claudino:With the release of the Avatar: The Last Airbender event, players won’t be able to find Olympian items inside Underworld and Olympus. However, there is a chance that Avatar elemental bending techniques will be found upon searching them.
Once the event comes to an end on May 3, gamers will once again be able to find godly items, such as the Wings of Icarus, the Thunderbolt of Zeus, and the Chains of Hades.
Where to Find Underworld Chests in Fortnite
To find Underworld Chests inFortnite, players have to go to The Underworld or Grim Gate, the named locations on the top left corner of the Chapter 5 Season 2 map. Here is a map with each Underworld Chest locations marked on it:
The Underworld Chests can be found in specific spots, and when they do spawn, they’ll replace locations where regular or rare chests would be otherwise.
Chests are easier to find if players haveVisual Audio settings enabled, allowing players to track chests within the vicinity by following the markers at the center of their screen.
Inside Underworld Chests, gamers will find rare loot, such asAvatarpowers, the Banana of the Gods, and high-rarity weapons.
Where to Find Olympus Chests
To find Olympus Chests inFortnite, gamers have to head down to Mount Olympus or Brawler’s Battlegroundon the bottom right corner of the map. While there are some of these rare chests at Brawler’s Battleground, they’re much more likely to spawn up north, as the Mount Olympus region has a higher number of possible spawn locations.
