The wait is over and the first official teaser trailer forThor: Love and Thunderhas arrived. But, that’s not all. For months, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been waiting to see the first look of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, and have so far relied on leaked images from the sets or of action figures. They can stop looking for a needle in the haystack as Marvel Studios has revealed the first set of official merchandise for the film, which features Gorr prominently.
Fans have wondered how comic book-accurate Bale’s character inThor: Love and Thunderwill be for a while now. The closest they have come to seeing the final live-action look of Gorr the God Butcher was inimages of Bale that were taken on setand leaked online, which then went viral on social media. He was seen wearing a gray, flowy outfit and had prosthetic makeup on that made him almost unrecognizable. Ever since, fans have looked for more images to piece the entire picture together.

A week ago,leaked images of Marvel Legends figuresshowed up on social media that featured most of the characters from the much-awaitedThor: Love and Thunder. While there was no comment from the studio at the time, it has now officially revealed the Hasbro figures, along with Funko Pop figurines and LEGO sets of the various characters. These include figures of Thor himself, along with Mighty Thor, Korg, and Valkyrie. But, what has caught fans’ attention is the various figurines of Gorr.
The six-inch Marvel Legends figure includes Gorr’s iconic All-Black the Necrosword from the comics. In the comics, the sword is a powerful weapon that bonds itself to Gorr, similar to a symbiote. It was created by Knull, who happens to be the God of the Symbiotes, and enhances the powers of its user. While blurry images ofGorr the God Butcher’s action figureand its weapon had leaked online earlier, this is the best look yet at Bale’s villainous character in the upcoming Marvel film.
Fans will also be able to get their hands on a Gorr Funko figurine and keychain. The details in the Funko are magnificent, as it includes all the facial scarring and flowy robes, similar to the character’s appearance in the comics. There is also a LEGO set titled Attack on New Asgard. It is unclear what pieces it’ll feature, but it seems likely that Gorr will make an appearance as he is the one who Chris Hemsworth’s Thor will be going up against in the battle.
