First things first: players need to start by choosing a starter word. This word must be five letters long and a real English word that’s not a proper noun.Wordleanswers are never offensive words, are rarely non-American versions of words, and are never plural nouns ending in S. There are yet to be any repeat answers, so players may want to avoidall previousWordleanswers.

Next, type the chosenstartingWordlewordinto the site and press enter. This will cause the letters to change colors, and this will give players some clues to the answer.

Players have a total of six tries to get to the answer before they lose the game. There is only one puzzle a day, and those will reset daily at midnight local time.
