NieR Replicanthas many odd side quests that will take players trotting around the world in order to help out the local NPCs. One of theseNieR Replicantside questsis called “The Pride of a Lover” and can be found in the village of Seafront. It’s worth mentioning that this quest can only be activated once players rescue the prince of Facade, the strange desert town with lots of random rules. The NPC that gives out the quest is standing near a ledge by the lighthouse, but he’ll only give players the quest once he’s been talked to three times.
It won’t work if players just try to speak to him three times in a row, though. They’ll have to speak to him once, leave Seafront, talk to him again, leave the town once more, and then speak to him a third time. He’s attempting to court a woman that he’s been chatting with, but he requires Fluorite from the town of Facade so that he can craft a fashion accessory for the woman.

The Pride of a Lover Quest Guide
Now, players will want to head back to themain character’s home villageand head out to the east exit to get back to the town of Facade. If players don’t have access to the desert map yet, just keep heading east and they should see the entrance eventually. Speak to the NPC that drives the “boat” around town, and select the “Strange Thing Store” option to be taken to the village shop. The shopkeeper will not have the fluorite in stock but mentions that it can be found in the temple where the player first rescued the king at. Before heading back to the desert, go to the front of the King’s Mansion and speak with the guard on the right to get a special compass that’ll helpNieR Replicantplayers reach the temple.
Getting Fluorite in NieR Replicant
Once players get back to the Barren Temple, they should look around the area for a shining gathering point, which is how most items are found. The Fluorite won’t be in a specific location, so players will just need to search until they find it. Once players find at least one, they will then need to return to the NPC in Seafront and he’ll reward the player with a whopping 30,000 gold, which will be very helpful for buying stronger weapons and other items. This quest may take some time to complete, but it’s worth it for the reward, and is one quest thatNieR Replicantplayers don’t want to make the mistake of missingout on.
