Missions play a crucial part in defining the credibility of a ninja. D-rank missions are assigned to new ninjas so that they gain experience. While S-rank missions are given to the strongest ninjas. Needless to say, there are a lot of ninjas inNaruto, who have completed an absurd amount of missions. With that in mind, here are ten ninjas who have completed more missions than anyone else.
10Asuma Sarutobi (719)
Asuma was a Jonin of the Hidden Leaf and the son of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen. He was a talented ninja in his own right and with his skills, he managed to find a place in the Twelve Guardian Ninja. This group served as the personal bodyguard of the Land of Fire’s Daimyo, which is a very big duty.
Asuma was proficient in Wind Release and Bukijutsu. He was hailed as the most proficient Bukijutsu user in the Hidden Leaf. Asuma completed a total of 719 missions— 111 D-rank, 193 C-rank, 217 B-rank, 178 A-rank, 20 S-rank.
9Might Guy (788)
There are only a handful of characters, who can boast of having Madara Uchiha acknowledge their fighting prowess and Might Guy is one of them. Thoroughly trained in Taijutsu by his father, Might Guy grew up to become a Jonin of the Hidden Leaf. Might Guy is very proficient in Taijutsu, and he is able to use all of the Eight Inner Gates.
With the power of the Eight Inner Gates, Might Guy was able to bring downKisame Hoshigaki, a member of the Akatsukiand he also nearly killed Madara Uchiha. Might Guy has completed 788 missions, which include 199 A-rank, 23 S-rank missions.
8Minato Namikaze (847)
Hailed as Konoha’s Yellow Flash, Minato made a name for himself during the Third Great Ninja War. He was feared by his enemies because of his ability to end fights in an instant.

With his power, Minato was able to face entire platoons of ninjas on his own, which helped the Hidden Leaf to secure victory in the war. His efforts landed him theposition of the Fourth Hokageof the Hidden Leaf. Overall, Minato managed to complete 847 missions.
7Ibiki Morino (861)
Ibiki serves as the Commanding Officer of Konoha’s Torture and Interrogation Force. His torture methods made him famous in other villages. Such was his skill that Kisame Hoshigaki decided to murder his team instead of letting Ibiki get his hands on them.
As a veteran, Ibiki has been involved in countless missions. In total, he has completed 861 missions— 181 D-rank, 297 C-rank, 301 B-rank, 79 A-rank, 3 S-rank
6Genma Shiranui (935)
Genma made his debut very early in the series. He is a talented ninja as he serves as a bodyguard to the Hokage, which is one of the most difficult jobs. Genma was able to fight against the members of the Sound Four. He is also able to use the Flying Thunder Formation. Genma has completed an impressive 935 missions.
5Yamato (996)
Due to Kakashi’s sickness, Yamato was temporarily given the position of Team 7’s leader. Being a former ANBU member, Yamato is very serious about his missions. He will do everything in his power to ensure the success of a mission.

Yamato is one of the few known characters who can use the Wood Release, which is an extremely powerful Kekkei Genkai. He has managed to finish 996 missions without fail.
4Kakashi (1,141)
Kakashi became the Sixth Hokage of the Hidden Leafafter the Fourth Great Ninja War. He played a pivotal role in the war, and he also helped Sasuke and Naruto to fight against Kaguya Otsutsuki.
He also served in the ANBU, where he met Itachi. Kakashi has been involved in countless missions and many of them have been extremely dangerous. So far, Kakashi has completed 1,141 missions, which include 42 S-rank.
3Tsunade (1,256)
Tsunade is a member of the Legendary Sannin of the Hidden Leaf. She is known throughout the ninja world because of her abilities. Tsunade specializes in medical Ninjutsu, which has allowed her to save the lives of countless people.
She can alsouse a forbidden technique, known as Creation Rebirth, that allows her to fight opponents for prolonged periods. Tsunade has completed 1,256 missions, which is very impressive. However, if she hadn’t stopped being a ninja, she could have easily finished more.
2Orochimaru (1,468)
For the majority of the series, Orochimaru was one of the antagonists. He used to be a cold-hearted individual, who only cared about the success of the mission. Before he was chased away from the Hidden Leaf, Orochimaru used to be a part of the Legendary Sannin.
Orochimaru was a part of many missions, in fact, there is only one ninja who has completed more missions. He completed 1,468 missions with 108 being S-rank missions.
1Jiraiya (1,839)
Theability to use the Sage Modemade Jiraiya was one of the strongest ninjas from the Hidden Leaf. He was offered the position of the Hokage many times, but he rejected it every single time. Jiraiya’s skills as a ninja were very impressive and not many could boast of getting the better of him in a fight.
Jiraiya was loyal to the Hidden Leaf until the very end and he died on his final mission. He completed a whopping 1,839 missions— 58 D-rank, 345 C-rank, 684 B-rank, 614 A-rank, 138 S-rank.
