Mr Beast, the award-winning YouTuber known for hisoutlandish stunts and philanthropy work, is yet again giving determined fans a chance to win some big money. This time Mr Beast is launchingFinger on the App 2, the second version of his firstFinger on the Appgame, with a total cash prize of $100,000.
The originalFinger on the Appgame contest began earlier this year on June 30, which saw over 1 million people download the app for a chance at a $25,000 prize. After a challenge that lasted 70 hours, Mr Beast awarded $20,000 to 4 contestants who were left with their fingers still on the app. Mr Beast’s generosity is often shown through crazy contests, as seen recently when he gave $50,000 to a 17 year-oldMinecraftplayer who built an impressive in-game farm.

As forFinger on the App 2,Mr Beast’s latest cash prize contestwill begin on December 29 at 7pm ET/4pm PT. For those unfamiliar with the rules, the app name says it all. Challenge hopefuls must place a finger on the in-app grid when the contest begins and keep it there for as long as they can. The app does require contestants to move their fingers around the grid to ensure there is no cheating with an object in place of a finger.
But besides the actual challenge,Finger on the App 2also features a battle mode that lets players go head-to-head trying to avoid obstacles that appear on the grid. This functions as a practice mode for new players who didn’t get a chance to tryFinger on the Appthe first time around, and apparently can offer extra lives in case a player’s finger slips from the screen.Finger on the App 2is developed by a small company called Beast Interactive Games, but there’s no question the app will be ahot commodity among Mr Beast fansby the time the contest begins.
Mr. Beast’s new app is just another excellent example of his YouTube popularity and prowess this year in 2020. At the Streamy Awards this year, Mr Beast took home the awards for Creator of the Year and Social Good awards for his work with the Feeding America Food Drive and the Arbor Day Foundation. The only person topping Mr Beast this year for YouTube earnings was youngRyan Kaji, a 9 year old YouTuberwhose channel features toy-related review and unboxing videos.
As tough as 2020 has been on the world, Mr. Beast’s channel and charity organizations have certainly been doing their best tospread joy around this year. This end of the year contest might see him repeating the first contest’s trend, giving away even more money than the $100,000 stated. Whatever happens, by the time the first seconds of 2021 roll around, it’s likely there will be a few contestants left hoping to start their new year out with some extra cash.
Finger on the App 2is available now for download on iPhone and Android devices.
