While the raw damage of the spell in numbers is impressive, Meteorites of Astel has its shortcomings in battle with its ability to hit consistently, and while the spell can stagger enemies, it is inefficient for anything other than large bosses and an army of enemies.

Carian Slicer, if used properly, can also dish out some of the highest damage in the game, setting it leagues apart from other sorceries inElden Ring.

Rock Sling, with its low FP cost paired with a good cast speed, good tracking mechanism, andnear-inescapable attack, makes it one of the best PvE spells inElden Ring. The spell is also useful against enemies with high magic negation, as it deals physical damage, making it ideal to use against a variety of enemies.

The only drawback with the spell is that its true potential shines only in the later portion of the game, but it’s still incredibly overpowered.

Cannon of Haima can be used in multiple ways, be it hitting enemies on the other side of the wall or knocking foes off of a cliff with the impact. With its low stat requirement, fireball size, and attack range, Cannon of Haima is truly a top-tier sorcery spell in-Elden Ring.
