The Terminator is set to arrive asMortal Kombat 11’s next DLC character in only a matter of days, and more details about this highly anticipated fighter are now beginning to surface. Yesterday, footage of theTerminator’s story ending inMortal Kombat 11was released, and now the name of the actor that will be lending his voice to the cyborg has been revealed. Specifically, theMortal Kombat 11Terminator voice actor has been confirmed as Chris Cox.
Chris Cox is a veteran voice actor whose work can be heard in an array of television programs, movies, and video games. With respect to Cox’s TV work, he has been featured extensively in theanimated showFamily Guy, assuming a myriad of roles in over 100 episodes. His voice can also be heard in series likeBoJack Horseman,Lost in Oz, andThe Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

When it comes to video games, Cox has a great deal of experience prior toMortal Kombat 11, with his voice appearing in a number of Marvel and DC games as well as in multiple entries in theJak & DaxterandGears of Warseries. This includes a presence in the just releasedGears 5, where Cox voiced Garron Paduk. Other recent video games featuring Cox’s voice includeMarvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order,Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, andSpider-Man.
With such an extensive resume, it is not too surprising that Cox was handpicked by Arnold Schwarzenegger to be the Terminator voice actor inMortal Kombat 11, and fans are already getting a taste of his contributions through theMK11Terminator gameplay footagethat is now available. While some fans may feel that theMortal Kombat 11Terminator voice acting falls short of what Schwarzenegger could have done in the role, hopefully most players will find Cox’s work serviceable.
With respect to exactly when theMortal Kombat 11Terminator release datewill come and give fans a chance to become intimately familiar with Cox’s voice work, that is scheduled for October 8. To note, this is the early access release date, which means that fans that have not purchased the Kombat Pack will need to wait an additional week before getting their hands on thisMK11DLC character and bringing Cox’s voice into their homes.
