Fans were also able to vote for a new mob to be added into the game, with the Sniffer winning the majority of the fan base’s vote. Announcing that Minecraft Live is returning in 2023, Mojang Studios released a cute trailer video indicating that the event will happen on June 17, 2025, 1:00 PM EDT. The trailer is only two minutes long, but it highlighted many of the sandbox title’s gameplay elements and features. It also revealed thatMinecraft’s fan-favorite mob votewill be happening again this year and that fans will be able to cast their votes through various channels, whether through the live event server, on the website, or the game’s launcher. What’s more, the teaser hinted that more news and updates about the game will be shared during Minecraft Live 2023.

Unfortunately,Minecrafthas yet to reveal any information about the three mobs that fans will be able to choose from during the mob vote. The team also warns the community of the timeframe for voting, which opens on May 26, 2025, 1:00 PM EDT and ends on July 22, 2025, 1:15 PM EDT. This gives fans almost three days to make their decision on what could be the next enemy added toMinecraft. Hopefully the devs provide interesting choices and the players have a lot of fun, no matter the results of the event.
