Mojang Reveals Activities To Celebrate Minecraft’s 15th Anniversary

A series of activities mark the anniversary of Mojang’s big hit, including thedistribution of free items toMinecraftplayers. Until May 29, every dayMinecraftwill give away a new Character Creator item representing a different year in the game’s history. The first day’s item was the Game Mode hoodie, and the second day’s item was the Crafting Cap, which reproduces the surface of a crafting table. To claim the freebies, players need to access the Dressing Room inMinecraft Bedrock Edition.

WhileMinecraftplayers celebrate this year’s anniversary, they are preparing for the next steps in the franchise.Minecraftwill get the long-awaited update 1.21, Tricky Trials, which will officially add many features tested in previous snapshots and previews. One of them is the mace,Minecraft’s new weapon capable of causing great damage to even the strongest enemies. Another eagerly awaited addition is the Trial Chambers, a new structure that will be the only possible place to find the Mace and Wind Charges, an item that will be in update 1.21 and can knock back enemies, and have other creative uses.
