Both titles were initially launched on PlayStation consoles by Insomniac Games before getting ported to PC by Nixxes Software.Spider-Man Remasteredcame out on PCin August 2022, withMiles Moraleslaunching a bit later in November 2022. Given Nixxess Software’s experience in making PC ports, bothSpider-Man RemasteredandMiles Moraleslaunched with positive reviews from critics and fans. Now, the development team has released a new update for both titles, making a few more improvements to these games.

The new update forMarvel’s Spider-Man RemasteredandMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moralesfeatures enhanced Bluetooth support for the DualShock and DualSense controllers. It allows gamers to utilize the adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller when using Steam Input but clarifies that a wired connection is required to take full advantage of all of its features. This new update also improves CPU optimization for some Intel CPUs in both titles, along with support for Intel Xe Super Sampling version 1.1.

Fans should note that the patch notes are the same for bothSpider-Man RemasteredandMiles Moralesdespite having different version numbers. It also doesn’t look like these games have any major bugs or other issues that need to be fixed. Overall, the relatively small update mainly adds improved Bluetooth support for players withPlayStation controllers, along with some other upgrades related to Intel CPUs.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredhas received other updates in the past that make more significant improvements to the game, such as version 1.2025-06-19 which dropped on October 6. Thispatch forMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredfixed some issues with the implementation of ray tracing, while also changing VRAM budgets among other upgrades.

While bothSpider-Man RemasteredandMiles Moralesare available on PC, the upcomingMarvel’s Spider-Man 2will launch exclusively for PS5 in fall 2023. Sony recently held a PlayStation Showcase event that featured a lengthy demo ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, setting up the main story and showing off its new gameplay features. Moreinformation aboutMarvel’s Spider-Man 2has been revealed since then, including a confirmation of its map size being twice as large as that ofMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.
