Earlier this week, famed artist and fashion designer Colm “KidSuper” Dillane announced that he would be working on a collection of post-launchMarvel’s Spider-Man 2costumes in a video post on Twitter. Dillane says that he was inspired by Insomniac’spreviously revealedSpider-Man 2alternate suits, and his collaboration with the developer on this project is made even more fitting by the fact that his KidSuper clothing line is based in Brooklyn - the in-universe birthplace of Miles Morales and one of the new locations that players will be able to explore as part ofSpider-Man 2’s expanded open-world map.
KidSuper won’t be alone in his newMarvel’s Spider-Man 2endeavor. Pop star and actress Rina Sawayama, Formula One race car driver Lando Norris, and football player Vinicius Junior are all joining forces to help Dillane design his line of post-releaseSpider-Man 2outfits. All three were present during KidSuper’s Twitter announcement, and while they remained tight-lipped on what players can expect, Vinicius Junior suggested a suit decked out in yellow, blue, and green - the colors of his home country Brazil. Additionally, Sawayama mentioned leather as a favored material of hers, while Norris noted a fondness for stealth when it comes to costume design.
Both Peter Parker and Miles Morales have worn some of the most iconic superhero costumes in all of comics, and Insomniac will continue to give players options for looking their best while taking ondangerous villains like Venom and Kraven the Huntereven afterMarvel’s Spider-Man 2is released on October 20.
