Earbuds for gaming come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and price points. Some target audiophiles withbest-in-class active noise cancellation, while others attempt to slide in as a budget option, delivering decent quality at an affordable price. Logitech’s G FITS earbuds are on the higher side of the scale with a few features that make them worth a look for gamers.
The Logitech G FITS package includes a pair of earbuds, a charging case, a USB cable, and a dongle for Logitech’s proprietary Lightspeed connection. They can also connect via Bluetooth, but Lightspeed is likely going to be a big selling point for a lot of gamers.

In terms of their design, the Logitech G Fits come in either white or black and feature a thinner, oval-like capsule, kind of like a tall pill. It’s a sleek design that looks nice in the ears and is a lot easier to store in the charging case. Some earbuds tend to have awkward construction that makes them hard to manipulate (remove from ears, place in case for charging, etc.), but the Logitech G FITS pop in and out of the case very easily.
Audio quality on the Logitech G FITS is exceptional. The custom, 10mm drivers can deliver crisp sound that doesn’t drown out any of the detail in games, music, or video. They’re also strong enough to pack a little bit of bass and give the audio source a fuller, richer quality. It is important to note, though, that the G FITS do not support surround sound.

With the Logitech G brand targeting gaming, the G FITS also include two beamform microphones - one on each earbud. The proximity to a user’s mouth doesn’t lend itself to the highest quality microphone, but it does well under the circumstances. Whether in a Discord call or party chat, it should be easy for friends to hear the mic.
Throughout Logitech’s line of headphones and audio devices, the quality is always high, and the G FITS are no exception. Similarly, the G FITS also take advantage of Logitech’s popular Lightspeed technology, which requires a USB dongle. On PC, Mac, PlayStation, Android, or Switch, users can plug in the included Lightspeed USB dongle and take advantage of the extremely low latency connection.Lightspeed is very useful for miceand keyboards but for a pair of earbuds it is also a benefit. Not having to compete with Bluetooth connections or worry about the connection dropping out helps a ton.

That being said, the Logitech G FITS do support Bluetooth connectivity as well. They also include aGame Modetoggle for Bluetooth that reduces the latency even further at the cost of a little extra battery life. What’s also nice is that users can program a gesture to switch between Bluetooth and Lightspeed, so they can quickly jump from two devices seamlessly. There aren’t a lot of use cases but avoiding the sync process could be beneficial to some.
Speaking of battery life, users should expect to get about 7 hours of battery when connected via Lightspeed or up to 10 hours through Bluetooth. The G FITS can then pull an additional 8 hours (Lightspeed) or 12 hours (Bluetooth) after sitting in the charging case for a while.

It’s not a ton of battery life compared to some of the high-end earbuds out there, but it should be plenty for extended gaming sessions. In fact, most handheld devices likely won’t last as long as the earbuds.
Where the Logitech G FITS will truly standout is in the fit of the earbuds. After all, it’s in the name. Using whatLogitechcalls Lightform technology, the earbuds use the heat from an RGB light in each bud to mold the gel to the counter of the user’s ear. It takes only a few minutes and only requires holding the earbuds in place with a relaxed jaw. The warmth from the RGB is a bit weird but it’s by no means painful or even uncomfortable. Really, it’s just confirmation that the Lightform tech is working.

Lightform promises to give users the best fit possible but there are a few caveats. If there is any inconsistency in the molding process, the earbuds might not fit at all. In our testing, the right earbud fit perfectly after the first mold, but the left felt a little loose. We redid the Lightform process to get a better fit and it worked that time.
It’s unclear what might happen if the fit changes over time, but for a first test the Logitech G FITS do well to secure in the ear. As a result, Logitech says that the G FITS offer passive noise cancellation since the fit is seemingly so tight. We can say that the G FITS do well to block out outside noise because of the “seal” of the earbuds but it isn’t as strong as active noise cancellation.
At $229, theLogitech G FITSare at the high end of the spectrum for earbuds. Logitech has made sure that the audio quality is good, the battery life is decent but not great, and the connectivity options meet its high standards. But the selling point, as the name implies, seems to be the ability to ensure a perfect fit regardless of ear shape. It is certainly something other earbuds can struggle with – it’s why many offer a few silicone tip options – and this is a clear advantage for Logitech if it works as advertised. If Logitech wasn’t going to offer ANC at this price point, it was going to do something else to stand out and RGB molding tech definitely helps them do that.
The Logitech G FITS are available now for $229.
