Summary
While trying to save the City of Krat inLies of P, people will stumble upon many Merchants who provide useful items. Some of these items might help players in certain battles or simply be a tool to progress through an NPC Quest like Adelina the Actress.
Players won’t meet all vendors simultaneously inLies of P. Some are unlocked automatically after defeating a boss or unlocking Hotel Krat while others are found in special areas. Obviously, people must collect Ergo if they wish to buy anything from the Merchants.
Updated on June 30, 2025, by Nahda Nabiilah:Merchants are essential NPCs as they will help facilitate Pinocchio’s journey in the ruined City of Krat and other locations. Many types of Merchants exist in Lies of P andmost of them sell items like consumablesand Quest items like discs, contributing to one of the endings. Other Merchants, like the ones in Hotel Krat, will sell upgrade materials for Pinocchio or his weapons in addition to the usual consumables.

Head to theCerasani AlleyStargazer to find aWandering Merchant, which is the first vendor players encounter beforethe Parade Master boss area inLies of P.

Polendinais Antonia’s personal Puppet and currently acts as a vendor insideHotel Krat. He becomes available after defeating the Parade Master and unlocking the hotel for the first time. After collecting certain Krat Supply Boxes,players can give them to Polendina to expand his shop. There are three items in total;Krat Supply Box,Sturdy Krat Supply Box, andSpecial Krat Supply Box.

Pulcinellais linked to Venigni. Therefore, people mustdefeat The King’s Flame Fuoco inLies of Pto save both the Prince and his Puppet. After that, travel toHotel Kratto find them both with Pulcinella acting as a vendor. Similar to Polendina, players can expand the Puppet’s inventory by finding the following items;Incredible Venigni Collection,Fancy Venigni Collection, andGreat Venigni Collection.

5Alidoro/Rookie Explorer Hugo
Alidorois a vendor that sells special weapons and certain Amulets after receiving some bosses’ Ergo. He’s firstlocated inSt. Frangelico Cathedral Libraryafter taking an elevator. After that, Alidoro is found in many locations likeHotel Kratand theBarren Swamp. Later on, after players decide Alidoro’s fate,Rookie Explorer Hugotakes his place at Hotel Krat and sells the exact same items.

Before reaching the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss area, head toMalum DistrictStargazer and go up the ladder to find aWandering Merchant. If players acquired the Black Rabbit Brotherhood mark before, show it to him to access his wares. If not,give him an Ergo Fragment to ‘refresh’ his memory. This is an essential vendor as he possesses a wide variety of throwable items.
