Armed with only a Bloodhound’s Fang, eldenen enters the battle with several status effects, including damage negation, increase in Attributes, increased Attack power, and more. Additionally, they equip Blood Grease for the first phase and then Freezing Grease for the second, where Malenia transitions into the Goddess of Rot. The player doesn’t take a hit from her whatsoever, bringing the boss fight to a close with a full health bar.
What isn’t shown in the video is how powerful eldenen’s Bloodhound Fang’s is during the boss fight. In a response to a comment regarding level 1 weapons on their Reddit post, eldenen commented that they would never do a “+0 weapon run.” Instead, the effort is complete with a +10 Bloodhound Fang’s.
