Agatha, much likeTom Hiddleston’s Loki, is an MCU fan favorite despite her evil tendencies. Her popularity left many worried that the cunning witch may not return to the MCU. When questioned about when MCU fans could expect Agatha’s return during an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige insisted that “it can’t come soon enough.” Feige also revealed that Agatha isn’t the only character whose future fans are curiously anticipating. Among those characters are other recent arrivals such as John Walker fromThe Falcon and the Winter SoldierandLoki’sMobius. The Marvel Studios president said that including new characters is something that’s incredibly important to the MCU. While it leads to Marvel having to perfect their answers to a number of questions to avoid spoilers, Feige acknowledges that the fans advocating for who they’d like to see more of makes everyone at Marvel very happy.

While Agatha may not be on the receiving end of a solo project, there weremany sides of Agatha inWandaVisionthat may set up future exploration. In her basement, a noteworthy book may have a place in the upcomingDoctor Strangesequel,Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As some have pointed out, Agatha’s book is eerily similar to the one missing in the guarded library of Kamar-Taj. With magic playing a crucial role in the sorcerer’s film, it’s possible that Agatha could make a surprise appearance.

With Feige reminding viewers of Hahn’s upcoming projects, includingKnives Out 2,there may be a delay in Agatha’s return to the MCU. Of course, Marvel has never been one to say anything clearly and would much rather keep fans in the dark. So, it’s possible that Agatha may reappear sooner than everyone may expect.

Agatha’s potential return is well set up by her final appearance inWandaVision. Rather than a violent form of punishment, Wanda leaves Agatha in Westview trapped under her sitcom persona, Agnes. It is unclear exactly when Agatha is expected to return to MCU screens or in what capacity she may be seen, but with the many time illusions occurring throughout the MCU, there is no limit to what may be possible.
