SmallTwitchstreamer BabblingBros went viral yesterday during his JustChatting stream where he was interrupted by his sister falling down the stairs. The fall can be seen in the background of the stream, though BabblingBros' sister appears unharmed by the incident.
Any form of livestream has the potential to go awry. A Twitch stream especially can be interrupted by anything at all. From one of many pesky ads topolice knocking at TFue’s door, it seems part and parcel of the Twitch experience to see some kind of interruption during a stream. For BabblingBros this rule rang true as his Just Chatting stream was interrupted by his sister collapsing down the stairs. During the stream, BabblingBros can be seen in the foreground, interacting with his viewers and chatting away, while in the background a keen eyed viewer can glimpse his sister, who in a blur falls down the stairs and collapses with a thud.

After the accident, BabblingBros then respectfully leaves his stream for a moment to check on his sister, who can be heard onTwitchlaughing the incident off and appearing entirely unharmed. She later returned on stream to confirm that she was okay. Posted on Reddit by user u/jeb17, the post has since racked up over one thousand upvotes and has garnered wider attention on BabblingBros' Twitch channel, with the clip itself having nearly 50,000 views.
The stream was initially set up to be a competition between BabblingBros and his sister to see who could get the most matches on Tinder within a certain amount of time. Some believe that using Tinder on stream is against Twitch’s code of conduct, and while it has led to one streamer, known ashellbringer13225, being busted by his girlfriend, using Tinder while streaming is not against Twitch’s guidelines and is not a cause for streamers to face a ban.
This latest blooper is one of many to be featured on Twitch in the platform’s history. While controversy surrounding the banning and removal ofstreamers such as Dr Disrespectoften plagues the news around Twitch, this incident is a reminder of the unpredictability that sits at the core of livestreaming.
