Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 242 has the attention of all the fans since the last few chapters of the story have thrown a lot of focus on the likes of Takaba and Kenjaku. Much to the surprise of the fans, the story shifted focus from the fight between Sukuna and the others to Takaba and Kenjaku.
This came out of nowhere, however,given that Sukuna might as well be fighting his last fight, it makes more sense to focus more on here and then take the story back to the ultimate fight that this arc might have lined up for the fans. Regardless of that,JJKchapter 242 is going to be incredibly exciting, given the events of the previous chapter, which saw Takaba gain his confidence once again.
Takaba Controls His Power
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 242 is going to focus on Takaba quite a lot. The previous chapter showcased a proper Takaba flashback to the fans. After losing his confidence in the fight against Kenjaku due to his enemy not finding him funny,Takaba was utterly crushed.What’s worse was that Kenjaku was actually making him laugh, which triggered a defense mechanism in him, making him exclaim that he did not care if Kenjaku did not laugh at his jokes as long as the rest of the world found him funny. In the previous chapter, he found his groove once again and realized that he is an entertainer who wants to entertain every single person and that includes Kenjaku as well.
If he makes a joke, he expects 100% of the people to laugh and if it’s 99% that do, then he is not satisfied. Takaba also promised to make Kenjaku laugh no matter what and win this battle effectively. JJK chapter 248 will see Takaba live by his own words and see him make amends for his failure in the previous chapters. Takaba is most definitely going to grow stronger in the upcoming chapter. Fans must remember that he has not gained full control over his powers just yet and that he has incredible potential, so much so that he has even drawn comparisons to the likes of Gojo.JJKchapter 242 will most likely showcase him fighting in more unconventional ways in trying to get Kenjaku to laugh. That is his goal for this chapter and that will remain the focus of the upcoming chapter of the story.
Kenjaku On The Back Foot
So far, this fight has been completely controlled by Kenjaku, however,JJKchapter 242 might see the tides shift in the favor of Takaba. Fans should fully expect Takaba to surprise Kenjaku even more. Initially, Kenjaku believed that Higuruma was the only character who awakened a cursed technique worthy of attention. However, his fight against Takaba showcased that he might have missed some hidden gems such as him. Takaba has a big job in front of him and he has to prove to Kenjaku that he’s a worthy opponent for him.
While he certainly did startle Kenjaku at first, it wasn’t long before he started taking control once again. However, now it’s time for Takaba to showcase his true powerand force Kenjaku on the back footonce again. The only way he can do that is by making him laugh until his tummy hurts and that is what he promised in the previous chapter. The basis for that is likely going to be set in the upcoming chapter and, given that this fight is not going to be too long, fans should expect results immediately, possibly starting fromJJKchapter 242. If Kenjaku ends up laughing in the upcoming chapter of the story, then Takaba will likely start to overwhelm him and do seemingly impossible things, potentially even scoring a victory over him.
Kenjaku Pushed To The Extreme
Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 242 could very well end up showing Kenjaku pushed to the extreme. This fight between Takaba and Kenjaku is very unique. Fans did not expect a character such as Takaba to be strong enough to fight against Kenjaku, yet, he is proving so with each passing chapter. While certainly not as strong as Kenjaku right now, he certainly does have a lot of potential. If he did not have enough power in him, then the author would never have drawn comparisons between him and Gojo in the first place.
Having him die before fulfilling his potential would be an utter waste of this character and, for that reason, Takaba has to absolutely rise to the next level before he ends up dying.
To that end, it is highly possible that the fans might see Kenjaku struggle quite a lot in dealing with this wacky ability that Takaba possesses.Kenjaku is extremely smartand, when taking part in conventional battles, hardly anyone can outsmart him. However, the incredible thing about fighting Takaba is that he cannot predict anything that his enemy is thinking and, can, thus, fall in battle.
The End Of Takaba Vs Kenjaku?
Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 242 could also see the end of the fight between Takaba and Kenjaku. If the first half of the chapter focuses extensively on Takaba gaining further control over his powers and managing to overwhelm Kenjaku, then this fight could very well end in the next chapter. Fans should expect Takaba to hold his own very well and impress Kenjaku in amazing ways. This fight might end up being a draw in some ways. The first thing that fans should know is that Kenjaku cannot die here as it is too early for that to happen and, at the same time, he cannot fall to a character such as Takaba either. At the same time, fans should also remember that Takaba cannot die before fulfilling his potential. That means that when this fight ends, there are two likely outcomes.
Either Takaba fulfills his complete potential here and greatly corners Kenjaku, even injuring him to a great degree in this fight, before eventually dying, or, there is some sort of intervention in this fight and Takaba does not die and this battle gets interrupted in some way. These are the likely outcomes of this fight in JJK chapter 242 or the chapters after that. Fans simply have to wait and see which way the author takes from here onwards. Regardless of that, the upcoming chapter of the story is going to be extremely intense and fans simply cannot wait to see what surprises Takaba has in store for them. This fight is only going to get better and the next chapter should be its climax.
Fans have come to love Takaba dearly over the course of the last few chapters and, perhaps, the author will elevate him to a whole new level and, at the same time,also give Kenjaku the much-deserved attentionover the course of the next few chapters ofJJK.
